One of my favourite albums of 2009 was (and is) Pictures From Home by Angela Faye Martin.

The album, a collaboration between AFM and Mark Linkous - he of Sparklehorse – took place at Static King Studios in Western North Carolina.

You’ll find the album at all of the usual places; iTunes, CD Baby, etc. However if you’re in Chapel Hill this weekend, AFM is playing at The Cave on Saturday at around 9pm and will have her wares for sale, so you can pick up a copy from her merch table.
